AkitaBox ListView

DEMO OF UI

ABOUT THE PROJECT

AkitaBox’s work order management software makes it painless to manage and complete your work across all your buildings. An intuitive maintenance dashboard and calendar view let your team see which work orders, service requests, and preventive maintenance schedules need attention.

I redesigned this UI to help users find important data easily and address hierarchy issues.  Additional usage charts, personalized data and new features were then added in to meet a variety of different user needs. The old UI was harsh and hard to skim through to find what you needed easily, and overall it seemed clunky and outdated. I started this refresh by toning down strong contracting components and adjusting font weights and sizes to fix the hierarchy issues. I then used spacing to organize and group content, giving users breathing room to find content they want, rather than trying to show them EVERYTHING they might want.
