ABOUT THE PROJECT
AkitaBox is a software company that helps companies manage their facility assets. This feature I designed is for safety and compliance needs when preforming a facility inspection. Inspections were particularly important during the COVID pandemic to ensure rooms have been cleaned and sanitized, but in general maintenance workers have scheduled equipment checks they need to preform and it was creating a lot of paperwork especially when done daily. Paper checklists and floor plans make regular inspections time-consuming and error-prone. The goal of this project was to visualize and streamline inspection process to be quick, accurate, and to have a way to easily see inspection history for audits.
